Liquidation Secrets - Become a Seller on Amazon

Before this post is over I think you will be as excited as I was to learn about a different selling venue…Amazon.com. Don’t get me wrong, who does not know about Amazon? There are plenty of us out there who are very familiar Liquidation Parrotwith Ebay and ready to move our business to the next level. I have been selling on Ebay for years constantly frustrated by policy changes imposed by the auction giant.

Well, listen up…..If you have a few minutes today I encourage you to watch four  jam-packed, content-rich videos in the genre of ‘Selling on Amazon’ and ‘Fulfillment by Amazon.’

I just finished watching them, and let me tell you, there is some powerful information there. HA… I’m even planning to be a seller on Amazon!

The first 2 videos are an introduction to Selling on Amazon:

AN INTRODUCTION TO SELLING ON AMAZON

SELLING ON AMAZON: BEST PRACTICES

The second two videos are more for the seller who is ready to take business beyond dropshipping. They have already worked out what is selling well, and are ready to increase their profits by ordering from their Suppliers in large or light bulk quantities. They still don’t want the hassle of holding inventory and managing staff, but are ready to take their business to the next level. They need a fulfillment center; and Fulfillment by Amazon can be the solution they are looking for.

The next 2 videos will answer:

  • HOW fulfillment services works
  • WHEN fulfillment services are right for you
  • What best practices will help you achieve the maximum
    benefits of fulfillment services

PICK, PACK & SHIP

FULFILLMENT BEST PRACTICES

I watched all four videos and was so completely blown away with all the great information that I wanted to make sure to get this to you as soon as possible!

Liquidation Secret - Shelf Pulls, Our Source For Profit

One way we resell liquidation merchandise is through what we call, “Event Sales”. We buy customer returns and shelf pull merchandise and advertise a one day warehouse sale where we are flooded with customers wishing to purchase merchandise at a deep discount.

We have held these types of event sales for years and have never noticed a lack of interest. Typically, from the time we open our doors until closing our cash register is non-stop.

The key to having a successful sale is finding merchandise at rock-bottom pricing.

Our last sale consisted of clothing and clothing only. We sold the apparel at $5 per piece. people quickly realized that a $100 spend netted 20 items and at the end of the day we grossed $1400.

We were open from 9 to 3, which amounted to an hourly average of $233 in retail sales! Because we advertised our short hours people were just grabbing merchandise! There was no thought put into the process except a feeling of, “If I do not buy it someone else will”

Where did we buy this clothing that we could turn around and retail for $5.00?

We bought 7 lots (100 pieces each) from Liquidation.com. This clothing was department store shelf pulls consisting of tops, bottoms, dresses, jeans etc. Most item still had original retail tags attached, which made it really easy for our customers to see they were getting a great deal. For example, a sweater which retailed for $39.00 was now only $5 at our warehouse sale.

Our cost per piece, once we factored in UPS shipping, was approximately $1.40 per unit, which offered us a profit of $3.60 per piece….once sold.

Here is your Liquidation Secret Source: Go to Liquidation.com and search for a seller named “STR_NationalSupply”. This seller routinely auctions 100 piece lots of clothing with auction titles like, “Women’s Clothing From A Major Department Store - Over $4,000 in Retail!!

We were able to buy 7 lots of 100 pieces for $1 per item!
