Below Wholesale Ed Hardy Apparel
Christian Audigier who has designed and marketed the famous Von Dutch apparel line acquired a license back in 2004 to produce the Ed Hardy clothing collection. The apparel is distributed on a very limited basis and initially only marketed to celebrities and those with considerable money and/or status. In my opinion, I think the the distribution channel Audigier chose was ingenious as the Ed Hardy brand is highly sought after commanding a huge retail markup.
Ed Hardy, famous for his artistic tattoo designs, has become known in the fashion world as a new age artist blending vibrant colors with a graffiti style/technique.
The market for this apparel has skyrocketed and now on a limited basis it can be found at Costco.
I did some research on eBay, specifically viewing some completed auctions and I was amazed at what some of the items were selling for. I found Ed Hardy T-shirts, hats and handbags and most were closing at or above $80 per item. Where are the eBay sellers finding this apparel on a wholesale level?
Is it possible to find Ed Hardy on a liquidation level, below wholesale? I spent a few hours searching the internet for distributors and found a few, but I am a little leery as to authenticity. the last thing you want to do as an eBay seller is start peddling fake designer brands.
I did notice a few large sellers on eBay who were exclusively selling Ed Hardy apparel and have been for sometime. It makes me wonder about eBay’s Vero program….

I know of the former exclusive closeout purchasing agent for all christian audigier and ed hardy merchandise. i think this dissolved about the time you started seeing ed hardy pop up in costco but i am relatively sure that while they are no longer the exclusive agent they are still moving ed hardy / Christian Audigier by the container. It is all 110% legit merchandise as this is also the same company that Marc Ecko used exclusively for many years. The prices are, obviously, not as good as say Federated storestock but are significantly below wholesale. Perosnally, as a buyer for a chain of clothing stores, i have used this company for many years and have also sold some of the ed hardy merchandise on ebay and it did quite well!
I would love to find a supplier for Ed Hardy mechandise, authentic mechandise. It is next to impossible to find a supplier for anything authentic to sell on Ebay lately. Ed Hardy does very well on Ebay and I have been actively looking for a supplier.
