Have you heard of this phrase when looking for truckloads of liquidation merchandise? What exactly is knock-down furniture and why would I want to buy a truckload? I am glad you asked!

I am certain that most of us here in the states have visited a Target, WalMart or Kmart where this type of furniture is sold. Knock down furniture is commonly constructed using pressed or particle-board construction. Often the pieces have a laminate finish and must be assembled upon purchase. Most of this type of furniture uses pins and special locking fasteners when assembling.

If you have had the pleasure (not) of assembling this type of furniture you will probably agree that individual pieces are fragile and once joints are assembled you cannot disassemble without causing damage to individual pieces.

This type of furniture gets returned back to the original retail store all the time due to assembly issues. You should expect heavy damages when buying truckloads of knockdown furniture. Because of the damage ratio, truckloads of knockdown furniture can usually be purchased for $1000-$2000. Full truckloads!

I would not buy any quantity less than a truckload as the real value in these loads comes down to the fact that you can mix and match broken units to make complete items. Forget about buying a pallet as you will lose your shorts!

GeneralSurplus has truckloads of knockdown furniture for $1,000 each, give Brian a call to see if there are any left!

Wholesale Liquidations Exposed! 137 Pages of purchasing information & liquidation sources in a fact-filled guide that wholesalers and liquidation brokers do not want you to get your hands on!
