Buying below wholesale – liquidation auctions

One of the best ways to source wholesale liquidation merchandise is simply to name your price. You set your maximum bid and sit back. If you win the pallet or wholesale lot at your chosen price you are ahead of the game.

Of course I am talking about leveraging the power of online auctions. There are a few auction giants that I use to find below wholesale merchandise including:

Ebay – Use ebay’s search feature to enter keywords or phrases like, “Below Wholesale” “Liquidation” “Pallet of” etc. I have purchased wholesale lots of apparel, electronics and jewelry on ebay with great success.

uBid.com – This might be a new auction for some of you, but Ubid has been around for years. The only sellers on Ubid are manufacturers, retailers and importers who have excess inventory to resell. Typically, items can be purchased in small quanitities (2 or 3 at a time) or you can specify larger purchases. Give uBid.com a try!

Liquidation.com – 500+ Bulk Lot Auction Categories – One of my personal favorite places to buy pallets and truckloads of merchandise. I really like the fact that you can search for auctions close to your own geographic region therby saving on freight costs!

Bidz.com – This jewelry auction is very interesting as they do not advertise as a wholesale auction, but final bids go out at such low prices that anyone could turn around and resell this merchandise! One of the internets best kept secrets! I love the 3 Minute Auctions they have 24 hours a day….it is a lot of fun.
