Free Merchandise to Resell on eBay
I want to stray away from wholesale liquidation merchandise for one blog post. Here is the deal: I found a website where you can get FREE inventory to resell on eBay. I know what you are thinking…yeah free right. But wait…there is absolutely no catch! You do not have to buy anything or sign up for anything…just sit back and receive emails from people who want to give their stuff away!
I am talking about a wave that has hit the United States and even stretched worldwide called Freecycle.org. Freecycle is setup regionally through Yahoo Groups. All you do is visit the website, search for your State & City and then join the local group.
Freecycle is a network of over six million members who are intent on giving away free used merchandise.
The philosophy is simple: It’s all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills.
Now having said that you might think that all free offers are junk. Well, I have a surprise for you. I have been a member for three weeks and have gladly taken an Apple iPod, Sony Playstation, TV and much more! What did all this cost? Gas to pick the stuff up. All items were offered by people in my own town. This website is addicting and I could really see a lot of the stuff resold on eBay!
Not all of the items offered are worth the effort in picking them up, but I have found some real gems in my short time with the group. Once a member you will get emails sent to you when something new is posted. I get about 10-15 per day, but this will vary based upon the size of your group.
Sign up as a member and review the free stuff…I really think you will agree this is a real cool way to find odds and ends to resell on eBay!
