Robert..
This is a great experiment…
However, while selling broken electronic items can find a market on Ebay, like with working electronics – it is the type of broken electronic item that generates profit..
For instance, I performed the search on Ebay that you suggested in this post “broken digital cameras”. Most of the 2 to 4 megapixel cameras have no – or very few bids. Same with the “camera lots”..
The Cannon Power Shot and cameras that have 6 to 12 megapixels have some modest bids. The “mack daddy” of bids – as of today – March 17 2009 – is the “Canon Eos 1D Mark ii N Camera ***STEAL*** Broken As-Is!
With 16 hours to go – the Canon Eos 1D Mark ii Camera is the heavyweight champ with 29 bids and a price of 585.00. I am sure it will hit 600 easy.
I guess my point here is that I hope you are able to have success the “low end” camera product that you have purchased. Seems like there is a lot available on Ebay at the moment.
I don’t want to be a “Debbie Downer” I just hope it does not take you forever to sell them. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
I will “stay tuned”..(LOL!)..
On hale it up Robert..
